The Adventure of Baby Vlad

Baby Vlad was born on a chilly winter's day on an idyllic farm somewhere in the vast Russian countryside. His mother swears that she saw a blazing red comet in the sky amongst the stars that night.
.
Despite showing an incredibly high level of intelligence from a very early age, Vlad found he had little interest in school. One night, while young Vlad and his parents were gathered in the living room around the television, a news report flashed on the screen. Vlad watched in awe as a group of brave cosmonauts clambered into a rocket and launched into the far heavens. He was instantly captivated, thus marking the beginning of his love affair with space travel.
.
.
From that moment on, Vlad dedicated every waking moment into researching everything he could about space programs and the deep cosmos. He conducted his own science projects at home, and developed a special talent for drawing space rockets and wacky gadgets.
.
.
Vlad's wild imagination and scientific prowess enabled him to come up with numerous creative and cutting-edge designs that pushed the boundaries. He spent his evenings in his backyard, bringing his designs to life using parts from old farm machinery and scrap pieces of metal he found lying around.
.
.
Although many of his preliminary inventions were failures, Vlad continued to experiment and persevere until he was able to construct a number of remarkable contraptions and even some partially functional rocket models.
.
.
It was clear to Vlad's parents and to all who knew him what his true destiny was. Vlad was fuelled by his ultimate dream - that one day, he would be able to travel further into the universe than humankind had ever thought possible.
.
.
Vlad began discovering a number of strange, foreign objects. Despite consulting every resource he had available to him, he could never find any information on these curious-looking objects and began to grow suspicious about their origins. He meticulously catalogued every item he found and kept them in his personal collection.
.
.
After finishing school, Vlad applied to join the Cosmonaut Training Program and was accepted. His talent did not go unnoticed by his superiors - soon the training center was abuzz with news of an up-and-coming trainee who had the potential to become a great cosmonaut..
.
.
Vlad completed his training with flying colours and achieved his ambition of becoming a full-fledged cosmonaut. Soon after, he embarked on his first expedition into space, which was such a resounding success that he was selected for several of the other missions that followed.
.
.
While on his space travels, Vlad concocted a new theory that he would be able to travel to another galaxy by travelling through a black hole that had appeared in the solar system.
.
.
After months of preparation, he set off on his trusty space rocket and proceeded towards the black hole. However, a system malfunction reared him off-course and instead led him dangerously close to the supermassive blackhole known as NGC-2810
.
.
By the time Vlad realised the error, it was already too late. Vlad fell into NGC-2810, where an unknown fate awaited him...
.
.
When Vlad regained consciousness, he felt something was amiss, as if he had just awoken from a strange dream. He glanced out of the window of his rocket and was greeted by the incredible view of a vast galaxy, filled with unknown planets. Overwhelmed by his predicament, Vlad scrambled to find a way back to Earth but he soon realised that his efforts were futile. He had no idea where NGC-2810 had transported him to.
.
.
Filled with both apprehension and anticipation, Vlad made his way to a nearby planet and was shocked to find that it was populated by a whole civilisation of aliens. Back on Earth, Vlad had been mocked for owning a collection of "alien" artefacts, but now his astonishing discovery confirmed that he had was right all along in believing that humans were not alone in the universe.
.
.
The friendly aliens welcomed Vlad with open arms and taught him about the galaxy they resided in, which was named LDT-24. He soon found out that there were actually many similarities between their galaxy and his own.
.
Vlad's new alien friends informed him that LDT-24 was home to an immense number of diverse planets and alien species. As an explorer at heart, Vlad was eager to continue his journey and experience as much of the galaxy as he could.
.
.
Vlad jumped into his rocket once again and began visiting other planets nearby, where he met all sorts of life forms. Some were amicable, some rather less so.
.
Vlad may be unsure what other adventures await him out in the galaxy, but one thing he is certain of is that his story is just beginning...
